Eric Daniel And Friends/ album review

Artist Name: Eric Daniel
Location: Rome, Italy
Genre: Nu Soul/ Urban/ R’n’B
Link:http://www.saxman.it/
Global rating of the product:4.5 stars
Eric Daniel is a gifted saxophonist with a long term experience in the music industry. The talented artist will feed your soul with his brilliant skills and please your ears with his colleagues’ colorful voices.
The Washington DC born artist is a wonderful interpret who masters both instruments, clarinet and saxophone.
Talking About Midnight introduces you into a soft, watered atmosphere that is enhanced by some female vocals in the background. The saxophone notes will make the listener feel the light atmosphere of enchantment one can feel during an after midnight party.
Wanna See You Dance is built on a sweet slow combined with some flute sounds and soft female vocals. Sensual saxophone notes spice up the atmosphere while you can hear a trumpet cry in the background.
Rhythmic drum beats, cut saxophone notes celebrate a joyful ambiance.
Guitar, piano and keyboard sounds add to the festive atmosphere.
Da Loot is built on much more nostalgic sounds and vocals. The repetitive chorus pictures an insisting demand. The saxophone enhances this constant quest. Hammering xylophone notes seem to suggest frustration.
The Ghetto is introduced by some distorted saxo sounds mixed up with guitar notes. Step deep in the ghetto, let the music take you there and the saxophone drop some hopeful notes. Rapid drum beats and electric guitar sounds strongly suggest a colorful universe that will open your ears and eyes. The ghetto is full of life and a source of inspiration for the artist. Nicely done.
Jesus Said is full of some blues accents. Enter into a spiritual atmosphere made of faith and prayers. The instrumentals perfectly match with the raw voices and beautifully draw a « please let it happen » prayer ascending to Heaven.
Deeper introduces the listener into a rhythmic African tale. The heartbeats alike drums play a determinant role. Let the spirit of the never ending music live on.
Take a deep walk and enter into the sensual OldSaxNuSoul ballad. Feel the beautiful gospel atmosphere of the song. Let me point out the great performance of the female vocalists who know how to touch your soul.
Enjoy the cadence. Close your eyes and let the music talk to your soul.
Ooh Baby is a love song that praises a lover’s soft body. Soft saxophone and flute sounds fulfill the song with sensuality and love feelings.
Back to nostalgia with Walking On Moonlight. Deep saxophone sounds are married with rhythmic drum beats.
Art Of Sax fully enlightens Eric Daniel’s great mastery of his instrument.
Minimal is a composition made of catchy beats and dynamic saxophone sounds. This is Eric, playing over and over again for his listeners’ pleasure. The swinging track probably won’t leave you indifferent. Follow Eric Daniel in his instrumental ride and enjoy.
Not only is Gotham City instrumentally well worked on, it also enlightens Eric’s narrative talent.
Jazz Rhythm is a beautiful song with a little bit of jazz-soul- blues and hip hop accents. It is characterized by some joyful saxophone accents, great rhythmic vocal performances, swinging beats, mad scratches. In short, the song will make black music lovers feel allright. A must hear, listeners!
Globally, the 16 track CD is very well worked on. The American born master interpret Eric Daniel allows his listeners to step into a sophisticated universe that is so rich of many influences. A pinch of soul, blues, negro spirituals, a little bit of Motown flavor, hip hop, well mastered instrumentals and vocals make that CD highly enjoyable to the listeners.
My advice: cop your Eric Daniel And Friends CD, you won’t regret it.
I gave it an average rating of 4.5 stars.

Do you like saxophone?

I do. Saxophone is one of the most sensual instruments I have ever heard. It is pretty much representative of the numerous emotions that run through a human soul…I am sometimes lucky to hear this wonderful instrument in the London tube. I will review an artist from Italy-a saxophonist precisely- for you all. His name is Eric Daniels. Some call him “saxman”. Stay tuned, folks:)

Ice T’s new album cover…

…seems to cause some controversy among puritan people from the UK…sincerely isn’t that a little bit hypocritical to point a finger at the skilled rapper for posing nude when there are so many examples of pure pornography that are willingly allowed by the media everyday-all day, a 24/7?
You go, Ice T…those who don’t like gangsta rap and who feel offended can always walk away from the album…

You Don’t Know, a powerful video brought to you by the Shady Camp gladiators

Global rating of the product: 4 stars
As much as I hated the You Don’t Know preview, I must say that the whole Shady Camp put some tremendous efforts in their collaboration regarding the You Don’t Know video.
It put some balm to my heart to see Slim Shady in shape, offensive as ever. Picture Eminem in the role of a convict in front of a young probation officer, playing some dirty tongue plays.
The whole Shady camp players show some unity appearing as true gladiators in a morituri te salutant style.
Dark bell sounds open the scene of a dark jail background, while synthesizers play a dynamic melody.
Major props to 50 Cent for his convincing unchained convict role. His good performance needs to be underlined.
Watch Shady soldiers like Bizarre, Kuniva, Obie Trice, Lloyd Banks, Ca$his etc show some real artistic unit.
The melodic is euphoric and it is a real pleasure for the eyes to see so many artists team up and show some unity as the song theme strongly suggests it.
The Shady Camp is taking over. More power to Eminem and his crew thanks to this energetic artistic performance.
Watch the gangsta related video here.

Who’s your friend?

We live in a complex society in which fakeness and hypocrisy are commonly admitted under the mischievous disguise of « social behavior ». The most naïve victims of such behaviors are the most likely to fall into hypocritical people’s traps and to get misguided as well.
Many people affect to flatter you and to tell you things that will caress your ears and you senses. Some of them will advice you nicely, watch you follow their advices and laugh secretly at your demise.
So let me ask you a question. Who is your real friend in life: the person whose mouth spreads words sweet as honey and who tells you exactly what your ears expect to catch or, on the contrary, the person who will tell you something you don’t like, but that is the very truth about your present situation?
No contest: the person telling you the truth- whether you like it or not- is a true friend.
I happened to lose friendships for telling people the truth about their current situation and trying to prevent them from making big mistakes (the main reason is that I have been through similar situations in the past).
Sometimes it is worthless to advice people who won’t listen. In that case, let them advance and fall into the trap clever foxes have prepared for them. Anyway, didn’t you accomplish your duty in warning those deaf people?
I came to the conclusion that only true friends are able to appreciate true friend’s advices. Those who don’t want to listen to you when you are giving them a serious warning against an imminent danger didn’t value your friendship enough to listen to you carefully. Never mind if they fall: they weren’t worth your friendship anyway!

Eminem disses mariah for denying relationship

Fuck Mariah Carey…she is the kind of superficial, talentless singer I fully despise…lol, just my two cents to the topic…
Eminem has used his “uncensored hip-hop channel” on Sirius Satellite Radio to blast Mariah Carey for denying they dated.
“Yes, me and Mariah did have a relationship for about a good six, seven months,” Eminem said recently on his Shade 45 channel, according to the Detroit News. “(But) it didn’t work. I wasn’t really into what she was into; our personalities collided. She’s a diva, and I’m a little more regular, I guess.”
The 34-year-old rapper excoriated Carey, 36, in a tirade. “I can never deny her talent, but the fact that she denied we ever had something, that’s bad,” he said.
Eminem met Carey in 2001 to discuss a possible collaboration. Asked the following year if the pair had dated, he told Rolling Stone, “There’s truth to that. But on the whole personal level, I’m not really feeling it. I just don’t like her as a person.”
Asked the same question by Larry King in December 2002, Carey said, “I hung out with him, I spoke to him on the phone. I think I was probably with him a total of four times. And I don’t consider that dating somebody.”
Eminem celebrated the second anniversary of Shade 45 in October. On Oct. 25, he premiered a new track from his upcoming CD, Eminem Presents: The Re-Up, on the channel.
The album is due in stores on Dec. 5.
