In an explosive interview with WKQI-FM’s (95.5) “Mojo in the Morning” show today, Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Mathers flipped the tables on Em and cleaned out her closet live on the air for all to hear.

“I can’t stand him. He’s an absolutely horrible person, and he gets worse every day,” Mathers said. “I vomit in my mouth whenever I’m around him or I hear his name. There’s nothing left in me for him. Nothing at all.”

She categorized sex with her twice ex-husband as “bad,” and said “he’s not very well endowed.” She added, “If you’re going to have sex with Marshall, make sure you have a little blue pill, because otherwise it does not work.”

Mathers said Em text-messaged her on Thursday when he heard she was going to appear on the “Mojo in the Morning” show, and blasted her for going on the air.

“It’s a shame that I’ve moved on and Kim hasn’t,” Eminem said in a statement released Friday afternoon via his Interscope Records publicist, Dennis Dennehy. “Her ongoing press campaign is doing nothing but harm to the children, and for that I feel truly sorry. For their sake I wish she would stop.”

The two were first married in 1999 and divorced several years later. They remarried in January 2006 at Rochester’s Meadow Brook Hall, and Em filed for divorce in April of last year.

Mathers, who has long been the subject of the vitriolic ire in Eminem’s songs, said she viewed the interview as her chance to speak up in defense of herself.

Although Eminem entered rehab in summer 2005 for his addiction to sleeping medication, Mathers said he “never stopped his old lifestyle.” With regards to the music video for Em’s 2005 hit “When I’m Gone,” on which she said she and Hailie, her daughter with Eminem, were supposed to appear, she said, she “found some things on the video set that probably shouldn’t have been there, and that’s why we weren’t in the actual video.”

In continuing to put to rest the rumors of Mathers and Em’s reunion, she said she is “100 percent” sure she will never get back together with the rapper, and she would never date anybody famous again.

In addition to sexual and drug-related issues, Mathers said, “His relationship with the kids has (gone) downhill.” Besides Hailie, the couple also cares for Hailie’s cousin, Alaina.

“Since he left the house in February (2006), I don’t know what he’s doing. His visits are few and far between, and when he does come around, it’s nothing positive.” When he’s around the children, Mathers said, Em is “always yelling and complaining about something.” She said Hailie consistently asks, ” ‘Why’s dad acting so weird?’ That’s what they say every day.”

There are also issues with compassion. Mathers said after she attempted suicide after one of Em’s concerts in 2000, Eminem reacted by saying he hoped she didn’t expect him to miss any concerts because of the incident.

Mathers, who said she has thought about authoring a book about her time with Eminem, appears at 1 p.m. today on “The Dr. Keith Ablow Show” on WJBK-TV (Channel 2). However, she said the appearance — taped locally in December — was only a pre-interview, and she never knew it was going to air. “I never even met Dr. Keith Ablow,” she said.

Kim Mathers, her second 15 minutes of fame quickly expiring, turns up on Friday’s “The Dr. Keith Ablow Show” (1 p.m., WJBK-TV, Channel 2) to talk about –what else?– her two marriages to Detroit rap king Eminem (Marshall Mathers). The pre-show publicity said she viewed her first marriage as a way to keep him “faithful and grounded” when he went on tour, but “When Marshall’s first tour started is when his ego just went ‘poof.’ You know he was untouchable. Like he was God, that’s what he thought.”

Then when they re-wed in January 2006, she said: ” ‘Let’s just go through the ceremony but not sign the marriage license.’ Because I was just afraid of what would happen if we had to go through a divorce, our kids. And then 41 days later, Feb. 25, Marshall left.”

One other utterance: “I believe that Marshall has issues on how to express his love and I don’t think he knows how to treat women because he wasn’t treated well by his mother. He still had a lot of anger towards her.”

The rapper and his ex are not going to give marriage a third shot, his rep says

Don’t believe a report that Eminem is engaged to Kim Mathers a third time.

Britain’s Mirror tabloid reported Tuesday that rapper Akon, who duets with Eminem on “Smack That,” said of Slim Shady and his ex: “He can’t live with her, and he can’t live without her. But they are meant for each other. They are engaged again.”

But Dennis Dennehy, a rep for Eminem, tells PEOPLE: “Those reports are absolutely untrue.”

Eminem (real name: Marshall Mathers), 34, and the former Kim Scott, 32, first wed in 1999 and divorced two years later. They have a daughter, Hailie Jade, 11.

The couple were estranged for years, but remarried in January 2006, only to split again less than three months later.

On an episode of ABC’s 20/20 that aired Friday, Kim Mathers told correspondent JuJu Chang: “Money is great, but it doesn’t make your husband stay at home with you. Or sleep in the same bed with you. Him being on the road and on tour – that was like the big one. I mean, constant infidelities, all the time.”

Through a spokesperson, Eminem said in a statement to 20/20: “For the sake of our children that we raise together, I have made a decision to not participate in matters such as this.”

Although Eminem and Kim s rocky relationship has made the headlines very often, Kim Mathers has been quite discrete about her privacy all over the years. In fact, it seems like she wrote a letter to the Detroit Free Press once, in 2000, in order to clarify things from her point of view. She also phoned Mojo in the Morning a couple of times, in 2002 and in 2006.

Her recent appearance on ABC channel belongs to the rare moments Kim expressed publicly about her private life with Eminem.

First of all, I think that Kim deserves respect for her discretion, because most performers wives would have prompted to sell any personal info to the tabloids. Yea, well, it is true that the tabloids are not really Kim Mathers best friends.

The scandal press has often spread a quite demeaning image of Kim, exposing her personal mistakes, her suicide attempt, her addiction problems and her sudden disparition in 2003, publicly.

It might be useful to view the problem from Kim s side. Kim has had a real rough childhood. She run away from an alcoholics home with her twin sister and became Marshall s foster sister at the tender age of 12, when Debbie Mathers decided to take care of her as her own child.

Kim s numerous disputes with Marshall as a kid suddenly turned into love. She was only 13 when she started dating him.

Her relationship with Marshall, a mixture of passion and hatred, always on and off, turned into a real nightmare when Eminem raised to the top as an artist.

Dealing with Eminem s fame wasn t really Kim s cup of tea.

Infidelities are never easy to cope with within a couple, but imagine your husband with thousands of groupies yelling after him and you perfectly know your rivals are likely to pop up at each after party? That can be described as a living nightmare!

This is actually the unpleasant situation Kim had to deal with on a daily basis, not to name the infamous exposure of her husband in different magazines on other women s side. Would you like it? I know I d loathe it!
But mentioning infidelities, Kim should have the honesty to admit she also cheated on her ex husband. I also felt like she wanted to appear a little bit too much victimized.

I listened to Kim s arguments carefully and I think she actually made some valid points regarding her stormy relationship with her ex husband.

However, I do think that neither her version of the facts, nor Eminem s should be regarded as the gospel truth.

Why? Because when a relationship doesn t work, there are usually two culprits who probably share 50% of their responsibilities. I am talking by experience.

Sometimes people love each other dearly and their relationship just doesn t work out.

From a personal point of view, I do consider that on the one hand, people should stop demonizing Kim, whether because they disapprove her actions or simply because they are mad at her (I know, Kim looks stunning at the moment and you probably cannot handle that fact. Poor little you full of rage and envy behind your keyboard, I really pity you.) Walk one mile in Kim s shoes, then you will be entitled to judge her.

On the other hand, I really think that some naive teenagers should stop idealizing Eminem and Kim s relationship. Em and Kim s story is far from being a fairy tale. It is the story of a man and a woman both coming from a harsh and dysfunctional background, who made tremendous efforts to make their relationship work without achieving any success.
It is made of tears and suffering. There is nothing to envy about it.

Love is powerful, but sometimes it just isn t enough to make a relationship work. This is my final impression of Kim s interview with ABC.

Eminem didn t want to express on the subject, in order to protect his kids privacy.

Feel free to add your comments. You have the right to disagree with my views, but please comment with respect. Any disrespectful comment, whether it is about me or Kim Mathers will be immediately removed.

Feb. 2, 2007 Getting revenge against an ex isn’t just the stuff of movies and television dramas. Not only do many people fantasize about revenge when their relationships end, you might be shocked by just how many actually act on those fantasies.

New York divorce attorney Suzanne Bracker cautions couples about their dark impulses, but says that unfortunately, they don’t always listen.

Eminem’s Ex-Wife Speaks Out

In every single case I have my clients tell me how he or she wants to exact revenge on their ex, Bracker said.

Bracker says that both ordinary people and celebrities want revenge against their former lovers. One person who says she experienced the devastating impact of a lover’s revenge is rapper Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Mathers. Recently divorced for the second time, Mathers sat down for an exclusive interview with 20/20′s JuJu Chang to set the record straight about her bad girl image and her near 20-year love-hate relationship with the rap icon.

Constant Infidelities

Money is great, but it doesn’t make your husband stay at home with you, said Mathers. Or sleep in the same bed with you … Him being on the road and on tour … that was like the big one. I mean … constant infidelities, all the time, she said.

The difficult times were a far cry from the early years of the couple s relationship. When the two first met, Mathers was 13 years old and Eminem was 15. They were two kids from troubled families who vowed to always protect each other.

If he got kicked out, then I would walk the streets with him until he found a place to live, or if I got kicked out, he was always there for me. It was just a close connection, said Mathers.

But that connection suffered when Eminem found stardom as a rapper. When he hit, he hit big. Success transformed him into hip-hop royalty, and with fame, came trouble.

Tough Times

He would constantly try to belittle me and make me think, like, I should be grateful, basically, that he was with me, said Mathers.

Through two marriages, their volatile bouts of jealousy and revenge played out under the glare of the media. Eminem pistol-whipped a man he claims was kissing his wife, and was slapped with a weapons charge. Mathers’ public struggles with cocaine kept her in and out of court and rehab. And Mathers admits to having had her own affairs.

I had low self-esteem, she said. I just really wanted attention and love from somebody.

Couples therapist and author Terrence Real says men and women express revenge differently.

When women do seek revenge, it is often sexual revenge. With guys, it’s out-and-out harm, said Real.

I Was Humiliated

Mathers said she felt the most powerless in the summer of 2000, when Eminem called her a tramp in his song Kim. The graphic and violent lyrics, which Eminem says were never intended to be taken literally, depict him pretending to kill her.

I was embarrassed. I was humiliated. I cried,” said Mathers. This is supposed to be a man that loves me, and is supposed to protect me … from being hurt, and here he is disrespecting me in the worst way possible in front of millions of people, and in front of our kids, my family, my friends, she said.

But Mathers adds there was still more revenge to come. Soon after the song’s release, she says Eminem promised her he wouldn’t perform it at a hometown concert.

And sure enough, he decided to do that song, and not only perform the song, but use blow-up dolls to re-enact … me being choked … just [doing] disrespectful things to the blow-up doll and then [throwing] the doll into the crowd, said Mathers. Just watching everybody else singing the words and laughing, jumping around … I couldn’t take it.

Mathers says that the betrayal drove her right over the edge. I made it home, she said, and I went upstairs in my bathroom and I slit my wrists and ended up in the hospital.

Real says that performing the song was a clear example of an abuse of power on Eminem’s part. Well, it’s saying, I own you, I’m lord, you have no power, and I will do with you what I what I want to with you, he said.

Getting Past Revenge

Real says the most important lesson is that lovers’ revenge might sometimes feel good, but it’s never a winning solution.

Mathers believes she is finally free from the destructive cycle of jealousy and revenge. She’s now a suburban single mom, raising two daughters along with a niece and nephew, all the while working towards a career in interior design.

I am not trying to bash Marshall or make him look bad, [I] just, you know, want people to know, I am a person, too,”said Mathers. I am trying to move forward with my life.

Eminem provided this statement to “20/20″ through a spokesperson:

For the sake of our children that we raise together, I have made a decision to not participate in matters such as this.

Police: Dawn Scott left with kidnapped son to collect cash from a friend

The former sister-in-law of rap superstar Eminem is being held in the Macomb County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond for a probation violation after she was accused of kidnapping, police said.

Dawn Marie Scott, 31, was arrested Tuesday night on Detroit’s east side with the 7-year-old boy in the vehicle she was driving. Police said she was taken into custody after a brief foot chase and then turned over to Macomb County authorities.

Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel said Scott was charged Wednesday with probation violation, and additional charges may be coming.

“We’re looking at filing possible charges of child endangerment and taking a vehicle without permission. We should know more (today) on what action we may or may not take,” Hackel said Wednesday evening.

It was not immediately known why Scott was on probation or what terms she may have violated. The arrest warrant stemmed from 41B District Court in Clinton Township.

Dawn Scott is the twin sister of Kim Mathers, 31, the former wife of Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.

Macomb investigators said Dawn Scott has a substance abuse problem and lost custody of her son in recent years. Kim Mathers and their mother, Kathleen Sluck, have guardianship of the boy.

Scott lives in Deckerville but was visiting the Macomb Township home where Kim Mathers lives Wednesday when the alleged incident occurred.

Police said Kim Mathers and Sluck went to a store, leaving Scott behind with the boy. Sluck’s husband was sleeping at the time.

Scott allegedly put the boy into the husband’s Lincoln Navigator and drove to Detroit, leaving behind a note indicating she had to pick up money from a friend. When Mathers and her mother returned home, they called the sheriff’s office.

In the 911 tape of the call Sluck made to police, Kim Mathers can be heard in the background trying to find her sister. At one point, Sluck said: “She’s a real bad drug addict,” referring to Scott.

Detroit police were notified of Scott’s possible location and spotted the vehicle at a BP gas station on Harper at Cadieux. They tried to stop Scott, who got out of the car and ran before officers apprehended her.

The child, who was not hurt, was turned over to Mathers and her mother.

In a jail booking photo released by the sheriff’s office under a Freedom of Information request, Scott has bruises on her face. Police said Scott claimed she was beaten by a friend earlier this week.

In October, Marshall Mathers was cleared of allegations of domestic violence for poking his 13-year-old niece in the head with his finger. The niece, a daughter of Scott, is under his guardianship.

In that case, Marshall Mathers became angry with the niece over a school outfit. The two were talking on the phone when the niece began speaking over Eminem and then hung up on him. Eminem later confronted the niece when the alleged poking took place.

When they were teenagers, Kim Mathers and Dawn Scott stayed with Marshall Mathers and his mother, Debbie Mathers-Briggs, when they had run away from home. Kim Mathers later started dating Eminem, and they married in June 1999 in St. Joseph, Mo.

About a year later, Eminem filed for divorce. The couple retained joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, as part of a divorce order.

The two reunited in 2005 and married a second time Jan. 16. Their marriage ended 82 days later when Eminem filed for divorce.

This Macomb Daily article gets more into detail about the Court hearing of December the 19th, 2006.

Charles E. Ramirez / The Detroit News

MOUNT CLEMENS — Eminem and his estranged wife, Kim Mathers, were granted their second divorce today after appearing in Macomb County Circuit Court.

The rap star, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, appeared with his wife in court this afternoon for a short settlement hearing before Circuit Judge Antonio Viviano.

The couple answered questions from the judge in court indicating they understood the divorce was final and that they agreed to divide property according to a private settlement. They left the courthouse after the brief hearing without speaking to reporters.

“Both conducted themselves with dignity and respect,” Viviano said after the hearing. “They were a pleasure.”

The settlement comes three months after attorneys for the couple failed to reach a divorce settlement and the case went into mediation.

Eminem’s second marriage to his high school sweetheart ended just 82 days after a wedding ceremony at Rochester’s Meadow Brook Hall on Jan. 14. He filed for divorce in Macomb Circuit Court.

The rap star requested the divorce because of “a breakdown in the marriage relationship to the extent that the objects of matrimony have been destroyed and there remains no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved,” according to court documents.

Eminem has also asked the couple retain joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, Hailie Jade Scott.

The couple was first married in June 1999 in St. Joseph, Mo. Eminem first filed for divorce in August 2000, and the divorce was finalized in October 2001.
