Which i find unfair. Benzino has fully proven to be an hypocrite. In 1998, he was praising Eminem as an unsigned emcee in The Source magazine and he praised the lyrics of his Murder Murder song from the Slim Shady EP, calling him a "creme de la creme emcee"...then he becomes jealous of his success and bashes him several years later? Him, Dave Mays and Kim Osorio faked the truth for their own interest. If you think that Eminem isn't real hip hop, then I doubt your taste for rap music. I don't care if an emcee is black or white or yellow. I do care about TALENT. If it is true that rap is a black musical genre, it is also true that it is universal and addresses to everybody. I don't see any reason why a white emcee couldn't rap if he has the talent and the skills needed to be in the rap game. If you think that i am that much of a Stan, that means you haven't explored this blog entirely. It is called the Eminem blog, but it is about many other artists. I have explored the Detroit rap scene and many other underground and commercial rappers. I am basically a black music lover. I do listen to other rappers such as Cypress Hill, Dr Dre, D Nice, Ice Cube, Xzibit,Saul Williams, Eve Tupac and to many other underground rappers. I do listen to Mos Def too etc etc... Em is not the only emcee i listen to. He is my fave, period. I have reviewed 3 Massachsetts artists recently who are tight. It is a matter of fact that Benzino can't rap. His music and his lyrics are whack. He has no credibility any more. His magazine is facing banktrupcy. He never paid his plane tickets and harassed his employees. In other words, this man is a fake. *We all have a right to our OPINION!*
